The world’s largest tree, 2700 years old, weighing 2,000 tons, 83 meters high!


In the National Park of Nevada in the United States, there is one of the world’s largest trees. Its name is “General Sherman”. It is 83 meters high and 11 meters in diameter. Twenty people can surround this tree.

This tree is not the tallest tree in the world, but it is definitely the largest tree in the world. Now it has a volume of 1487 cubic meters and weighs about 2000 tons. According to experts, the tree is about 2700 years old. The picture shows researchers are using ropes to climb the big tree.

General Sherman is a species of giant fir, mainly in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the United States. It is the largest and alive tree species known in the world.

Giant Sequoia is hailed as one of the most amazing natural wonders in the United States. As early as the 19th century, many Giant Sequoia were cut down by local residents, and this type of Giant Sequoia is becoming less and less.
